Account Director | Healthcare - Central London

Our client is a global communications agency specialised in health and based in a fully renovated office in Clerkenwell area. Their mission is helping brands to improve healthcare and society as a whole.

They are now looking for an Account Director passionate about making a difference in healthcare. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and a leader in communication project delivery, will have a thorough understanding of a product’s lifecycle as well as a strong experience in specialist disease areas.

Key Requirements

  • Leading marketing campaigns for healthcare brands, working closely with clients and internal teams to form briefs based upon client objectives
  • Managing various traditional marketing communication programmes through media
  • Collaborating with internal teams including creative, planning/strategy, production on client campaigns
  • Working closely with senior team members to ensure account growth and client satisfaction
  • Engaging and able to maximise client relationships and proactively build relationships with key opinion leaders, professional associations and other relevant third parties

Key Skills

  • Pharma / healthcare background is mandatory
  • Experience working as an Account Director in a med comms agency
  • Experience working on multi-channel creative campaigns
  • Intuitive understanding of a client's needs and objectives to assist with marketing strategies
  • Developing and maximising client relations
  • Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills/experience
