My client is a strategically driven creative agency with offices in New York and LA. They have recently launched their UK office in Bristol and are currently recruiting for a Senior Creative with a primary focus in FMCG packaging to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7yrs experience, with strengths in art direction, be comfortable client facing and must be ready to contribute to all steps of the creative process.
We are looking for exceptional Creatives/Designers who have well thought out work, a modern approach, diversity of style, well-crafted typography, and illustration skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Creative candidate to work alongside the company’s chief creative officer to shape and develop the Euro office’s creative team. You’ll collaborate closely with the company’s other designers in New York, with all phases of work, including research, brand strategy, corporate and product identity design, packaging concept exploration, design development and final output. Almost everything they work on is connected with print. You will act as a brand guardian for some of the world’s most well-known global brands, managing multiple accounts whilst overseeing the creative development for consumer packaged goods.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a degree in fine arts or graphic design and experience working as a graphic designer. Confident art direction skills are imperative. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of print production are musts for this position.
· Consumer packaging experience: specifically, food, beverage (not alcohol), home care products - packaging you would find in a supermarket, as opposed to - cosmetics, electronics, toys, or entertainment.
· A passion for print design, typography and branding
· Very well versed in print is key (Adobe Creative Suite) and knowledge of the production process
· We’d like to see a solid FMCG packaging portfolio showcasing at least 4 to 5 different pieces of work, with before and after shots, and an explanation of the work and rationale behind the design.
